Department I

Here you find the bib­li­o­graph­ical in­­­form­a­tion on 2165 books and journal art­icles re­lated to an­imal mag­net­ism and hyp­nosis from 1776 to the be gin­n­ing o fthe XXth century.

Department II

Here you find ex­tracts from clas­sical pa­pers on an­imal mag­net­ism and hyp­nosis (from 1779 on), il­lus­trat­ing the his­tory of the pre­curs­ors of mod­­ern hyp­no­ther­apy.
